Just purchase a silver WiLL,i Year of manufacture 2000, it's beautiful and a joy to drive. i have a few questions:

- does anyone know if an english car manual exists?failing that any car language please?

-on the dashboard above the radio is the word 'passenger' in a little slot. what is it for?

- on the front of the car below the bonnet there is a horizontal grille slot in the bodywork partially obscured by the number plate. At either end is a mesh grill but, on my car, the central part of this has no mesh and you can see the radiator through i on either sidemof the number plate. Is this standard or am i missing a part? It does look slightly unfinished here.

- has anyone tried fitting a fog light into one of the reflectors? Mine is an add on and ugly.

-when to use overdrive?

- has anyone ever tried taking the seat covers off to dry clean? The interior has been smoked in.

Thanks!

Hi, I also have a silver Will Vi!

The car is based on the Yaris so some of what is in the Yaris handbook and repair manuals, is relevant.

The word 'passenger' on the dashboard is to notify you that your passenger hasn't put their seatbelt on. It will flash if someone sits there but doesn't put the seatbelt on.

That grille slot is standard, the mesh grille either end is actually solid and the aperture is, I guess, for cooling. I put some front fog lights in the 'open' bits.

Fog lights: I fitted red LEDs in the rear light cluster in the bottom lens which isn't used for anything. It involved taking the light clusters apart but is much nicer than the dangling fog lights. I put a video of them on Youtube.

Overdrive: should be left on in normal driving. O/D OFF will give a bit extra power for overtaking or for engine braking. It allows you to lock out fourth (top) gear.

I haven't tried taking the seat covers off!
