Key Locking Issues

Hi, new member here. I own a 05 plate celica blue and decided after 2 years to change the ugly standard stereo. Everything went well, or so I thought as when I tried to lock the car using the button on the key it wont lock or unlock! The car will lock using the key manually, anyone any suggestions thanks.
