Tie Rod Ends

Hi

We have a 2003 Toyota Avensis which needs a new L/H track rod end. We have been told by the garage that we need both the track rod end and the interior rod that is housed inside the steering rack unfortuantely the garage is saying that Toyota will only sell him the complete steering rack at some expense. Can anyone help/ know if we can buy the interior rod seperately. Thanks

Absolute bull. Take your car away from this garage & employ someone else to carry out repairs, both parts can be purchased from any major motor factor. Try www.japarts.co.uk

I second that !! Ripping off bas@*$ds, Do not give them your business. Find another garage and if they try the using the same excuse, then move on to the next one. There must be A honest garage in your area.

Can you name and shame once you get your car back ?? so that others know to steer well clear of this unscrupulous place.
