Do the runners come off the original seats ok or are they a destroy the seat to get at sortta thing?

My metal plan is take out original seat, take off runners attach to new seat (with fabricated brackets etc) and bolt back in........ plausable?

Cheers.... :help:

I'm getting sparco seats and the correct brackets for them also. Getting my local Jap place to fit them etc, includint the belts.

They said I can get the seats delivered to them, so I have no hassle trying to transport them.. which is a good thing.

Depends on whether the seats bolt straight in. It is more likely they will attach through some type of adapter. It may be possible to fabricate one of these yourself. If I were you I'd ring a few companies selling the types of seats you're after and ask them how you would go about fitting to an MR2.
