Quick question; On the Gen III T-Spirit, does the car come with (rear) parking sensors as std or do you have to specify the optional 'Protection Pack' which I see from the Prius Accessories list, includes these and a boot liner? Thanks!

It is not standard, however the rear view camera is standard as is the intelligent parking system. Why anyone would feel to still need parking sensors as well is beyond my comprehension.

Rns, the parking system is really great!!! When you have time to set it up....

I suspect that most of us have used it or will use it once or twice during the lifetime of the car, just to show it off as most, if not all of us will be able to park much quicker without it.

My Grandsons both think the car is magic to be able to drive itself into a parking space, and it's a good gimmick to show off with, but that's really about it, I like the camera it's brilliant, so keep the camera, do away with the IPS and have electric folding mirrors... And that really and honestly is my only complaint about either my gen2 or the new gen3.
