Have you asked a Toyota dealer ? Current models come with a space saver wheel as standard.

A quick phone call to the service dept of your local Mr T shop should be able to help you I suspect.

i have a 2010 and comes with that silly tyre sealer and compressor, i rand my local dealer who we use at work and was quoted £47+vat and a tyre would cost around £45.

spoke to a chap on eBay who as a breakers yard and he said that a 16in wheel with tyre would cost £35 posted, i know its not the 17in that should be in but as a spare it will do the trick

If you go along the route of carrying a 16 inch spare wheel you should make sure that the overall wheel diameter (Wheel and tyre) is the same as the standard 17 inch wheel or the handling of the car may well be affected

Please also bear in mind that the history of any wheel/tyre combination obtained from a breakers yard is unknown............Better to have the tyre seperated from the wheel and examined prior to use

thought about that, i was going to strip the wheel down anyway to spray it if it comes yellow, so can check the tyre at that time, i work for a large tyre and exhaust centre so for me the handling problem will be a short 1 as id get the tyre repaired almost straight away but i agree if u r gunna use the spare then fit a 125 75 16 or a 125 85 16 both i think are very close to the same rolling radius
