Yaris T-Sport With 195 45 R15

Fed up with only being able to get a poor choice of tyres so I decided to get some Rainsport 2 in the size 195 45 R15 on the standard wheels. Question is will the difference in radius mean the speedo now need adjusting or how do I calculate what speed I will be doing if the speedo is showing 70mph?

What size were the standard tyres?

70mph @185/55/R15 (standard Tsport)

66.65mph @195/45/R15

should have gone for 195/50/R15 (standard P1 SR) as stated in many topics @ 68.99mph

Yeah, why did you go for 45s rather than 50s?

Ok you guys are spot on so I cancelled the mobile fitting this morning! I did not know you could get a 50 profile as the online fitter system did not allow me to change the profile of my search results...

So I got UNIROYAL RAINSPORT 2 in the size 195 50 R15 for only £54 fitted each. Should have some fun with these with the UK weather as it is right now.

Now I only hope the fitter has no issues getting 195 on a 185

awesome! rainsports look good, shame they don't do them in my size.

195's will fit perfectly, with no problems.

i had 195/50/r15 goodyear F1's on both my Yaris TS and SR.
