Car Battery - Dont Fit!

I am in a bit of a pickle, i purchased a new car Battery of the internet the other week becuase my current one is not holding its charge - (its not the alternator as mr RAC man checked it over when i had to call them out the other week.)

anyways, the physical shape and size of the Battery im happy with (although, its not 100% perfect fit to the existing Battery tray, i can work with that). the issue is the terminal post of the battery (euro spec) is bigger than my cable connectors (jap spec), this is something i did not consider when i bought the battery!! doh.. i know. has this happenen to anyone before??

so i was wondering are there any adaptors or sleaves that fits onto the battery terminal itself so i can retain my existing cables? i dont really want to rewire the cars electric just for the sakes of a battery. my work colleague told me that he used to get these 'cone' shaped adaptors which fits onto these big battery posts thus reducing the size at the top, if that makes any sense?!?!

any suggestions welcome?

ta

you can buy spare connectors from most car accessory shops. just remove the standard ones and fit the new

available from any decent parts shop. They are all the same - as I bought some for one of my trucks and also for a forklift - the batteries terminals are all the same size for +ve and another size for -ve.
