Atr Tyres For Landcruiser Amazon

Hi,

I'm new to the site and hope someone can help me. I've just moved to Kenya and brought my 2005 Amazon with me. Unfortunately it's still got road tyres whichare useless on safari! I'm looking at getting some all terrain tyres and like the look and sound of Cooper Zeon LTZ 285/60/18. Does anyone know if these will fit without rubbing? I've currently got 275/60/18 road tyres.

Yes they fit without rubbing, i've run my 2000 (x reg) Amazon on 18" wheels with 285/60/18 size tyres for about 2 years now, fitment of this size tyre also increased the load and speed ratings with mine (Kumho Ecsta STX) as they are 116V load/speed rating. Incidentally, my speedo vs satnav speed was about 8% out before i fitted the tyres, now the speedo is only about 2% out compared to satnav. So better all round for me.
