Bath To Brighton Dash In Aid Of Children In Need

Hi all again!,

In response to my last post "Aygo rally" (please take a look at the post)To start with this is not a race nor a rally. I am trying to organise a convoy drive from Bath to Brighton in aid of children in need! I have spoken to children in need already they are keen and very enthusiastic about the idea. My plan was on either to travel on the 2nd or 3rd weekend in November before the Children in Need weekend live show. I was thinking of taking the A36 then the A303 then take the M3 and stop to let people catch up or regroup! Then carry on down to Brighton! Each car, I thought the driver/owner could sponsor it and get all friends and family to do so to and if each car could raise £10 depending on the number of cars we could make a good contribution and have fun at the same time! I will be liaising with the local Police forces in the areas! I am going to post a link hopefully with help from one of their administrators on the 107/c1 site to also if you think it would help I could make an open event on Facebook? Please let me know your ideas!

GARRR if only I lived in the South. I think Bath to Brighton is a little bit far for me up near Liverpool. :'(

Drive back?? ..............After a suitable rest period!

Maybe an overnight in Brighton may be adviseable as it is a little ambitious to complete the round trip in a day.

Same as ewen1605... I'm near Liverpool too so it's probably a bit far. Hope whoever goes has an ace time though! :)

I hope it's a success guys, I'm sure it will be! I won't be able to make it as I'm away that weekend :( , but have loads of fun!! Looking forward to hearing the outcome... should do something for Comic Relief next year as well... drive around with Red Noses on our Aygos :P
