Hi everyone Zaffy here, from Ipswich in Suffolk.

Just joined and wanted to introduce myself and say "hi" and tell you what Ive just gone and done.

Yesturday I put a deposit down on an Aygo Plus which is a Cat D registerted due to a center front impact.

Seller replaced top and bottom cross beams and bumper and lights and it looks lovely.

Aparently DVLA dont want inspection but it passed MOT yesturday and after driving it was very impressed.

Only blot maybe is the engine making a loud tapping all the time and worse when warm or under load,

so seller has a spare engine which has only done 3500 miles and for a little more cash I could have it fitted.

The car is a 2006 Aygo Plus with only 33000miles on the clock and looks and drives lovely.

It has air con and is a 3 door in Metallic Silver, and mint inside and fab outside too,

also has virtually new tyres all round.

Also thoughts and advice welcome and I'll tell you the price after some feedback.

BTW my father in law bought a 5 door auto Aygo Cat "D" off this same seller 6 months ago and still loves it.

Regards Andy

Hello and welcome.

I think you are a brave man buying a Cat D vehicle at all. There are plenty of 'straight' Aygo cars about and unless you _really_ got a bargain (and intend to run it forever), I come back to you being very brave!

Welcome to the LoC though regardless...

Thanks for the welcome everyone,

Well Ive bought the car for £2900 so afteer searching eBay and autotrader it seems I have a bargain,

but yes I will be keeping the car a long time.

Thought i'd say hi, I'm new to the Toyota world or will be on Wednesday when I take collection of my new Aygo.

I do have to say thanks to this forum, I'm always interested in what current owners have to say about a car and the Aygo kept coming up trumps.

Hi! I'm new too...I've had my Aygo for exactly 2 weeks now and I love it! I live in a city and it is fantastic to park and the seats are really comfortable. It feels a little light when driving fast but I am getting used to it. I am surprised at how much room is in it since I am quite tall! I figure 4 people can sit in it without problems. I also like that there are so many compartments to put things in.

I really enjoy reading the forum...so thanks everyone!!!!
