Aygo Gears

I have a 57 plate Aygo Blue and it has now started to get very difficult to get into 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th gears and worse when changing down. Sometimes the gears crunch when you miss the gate. What is causing this, and will it be expensive :(

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but it sounds like the clutch is on the way out. Hopefully I'm wrong but......

When my daughter had her Aygo it had to go back twice to have the gear change linkage adjusted.... what a rubbish set-up

Then before the car was 3 years old it had to have a new clutch and thankfully Toyota held up their hands and said it was a warranty fault

The above was simply a small number of faults on a long list.... hence she now drives a Clio
