I'm going to buy an auris in the next couple of weeks but can't decide between the TR or SR. Is it true the new models dont come with a spare wheel?

Mine came with a space saver as standard (it was new in March)... I wouldn't accept a repair kit option if that's an option.

If you do look at second hand cars, the SR 180 did not have a spare wheel, just a useless tube of glue, so if you get a large puncture or damage a side wall , its the AA and a lift on their break down wagon.

Total false economy on an £18K car.

According to the equipment specs on the Toyota website, all three current trim levels come with a space saver spare
