Problem With Rear Parking Sensors

Hello,

I have Toyota Avensis D4D Year 2006. And I have a problem with rear parking sensors they are beep non-stop when rear gear is on.

So I am wandering, how I could turn off this beep. I don’t have switch in trunk for trailer using.

Could someone help me find the fuse for sensors? Maybe there is some manual for fuse location, because on fuse panel is no any info about fuse?

I am guessing you have a tow ball at the rear if so your sensors are detecting it as an object. The on/off button in the boot if fitted is normally fitted next to the spare wheel on the left, and is a toggle switch.

No I haven’t tow ball at the rear; as well I don’t have this switch. So maybe you could help me find this fuse to turn off the sensors?

If genuine toyota sensors they will pick up the power feed from the reverse light feed/wire.

There is a small fuse located in the red wire for the parking sensor kit.

Try taking the small interior cover in your boot off to access the rear of the lights and trace the parking sensor loom (red wire) to remove the fuse.
