hello, today i cleaned as usual mine 2003 avensis 5p 2.0td, and now i notified that the door lock are activated in automatic: i left the car without close by key or remote, after some seconds the light lamps (as commanded by a remtoe) and the doors are locked

what's happened? is there a way that i don't know for select the auto lock or not?

before today i left normally the key on the car seat without problem and the door never locks

regards

found the solution...

Imho that's the description of the problem, not the solution.

The autolock feature is canceled when the driver's door is opened.

Closing the doors without locking should not re-arm the autolock and/or the alarm.

Are you sure you didn't lock/unlock after leaving the car?

i readed on it about the door opening and was enough

for sure i locked then unlocked the car without open a door .. and so without open a door the autolock continuosly appears

after the door's open/close autolock desappeared

i'd never notified that unlock without opening any door(here as well the passenger side one) cause an autolock in few minutes (and is a good idea), now i know it
