Need Help

hi all i have rev 2 turbo that starts and stalls after 3 seconds all the time, i have been told its the standard built in immobiliser thats doing it ? i have been told that it can be taken out by an auto elec and i have also been told that you cant take it out and i have to buy new lock and transponder can any one shed some light on this for me please as this can be the only reason why it wont tickover longer than 3 seconds as have ruled out every thing else many thanks

If your car is an original Jap import turbo model, it cannot be the immobiliser as jap imports do not have any standard factory security.

Whether you can or can't take it out makes no difference because it isn't there to begin with.

I assume you have checked for error codes and ruled out all the obvious stuff, fuel pump/relays, ignition components, AFM, etc etc?

i would have said it was your fuel pump relay or ecu input feeding the relay,
