mines a 1996 celica

I discovered that modifications on the front lip are the most concern.

Have a kit for a 1994 on mine - had to angle grinder the front lol - but not too much to worry about

mine has 72k miles at a 1996 model ... so the 94k on a 1998 looks high to me - but not enough to put me off

the main issue with compete kits will be the front crash bar.. some kits will require it to be removed or modified..

It all depends on is yougo for a complete front end replacement kit, or ones like Erebuni or C-one extensions to the exisitng bumper.

How extreme are you thinking of going with a it. an alternative to just finish the styling is to get the JDM skirt extensions which finish off the side skits by wrapping around the front and rear bumpers.. it's a subtle but very pleasing on the eye kit imho.

at 94k, that's quite high.. first thing i would do is get a full service done seeing as you don't know when the last service was done - do you have proof the cambelt was changed ? if not get it done as well - that should be peace of mind for you.

My 99'GT only has 29k on it.. makes me realise how much of a bargain i got ! Although my 98'SR has now got 85K on it..
