Hi,

Only joined this forum yesterday but was wondering if you guys could help me. I'm looking to buy the latest Celica (in either it's 140 or more likely 190bhp form). Can anyone help me with the pros and cons of owning this car - I can't find many posts relating to this model. Does anyone with the 140 Celica find that it doesn't have enough acceleration?

Any help would be appreciated. I promise I'll provide some feedback for the forum once I've got my new toy.

Hey Mark

I own a G7 140.

Could do with a bit more poke but overall very happy with it.:D

The 190 is basically the same as the 190 until you go over 6000rpm which is when the Lift kicks in.

Then you start having fun.

Although you prob need to get used to revving the car up more and keeping it in high revs to make most of the Lift.

Have a look on www.celica-club.co.uk for more info and input from 190 owners.

Hope this helps
