4.1 Model Difference

Hi again Im still on the look out for a Rav4 and ive been trawling the classifieds and seen a few, one of them is a 1999 Freesport however im told that these DONT have ABS, is this right? Is there anything else they lack?

This suggests no ABS as you say; ABS on the GX models up.

I have 2 1994 RAVs and neither has abs. The racing rav doesn't have abs tho it does have amazing front brakes! Never had a big problem - as mine are both 3 door and short wheel base. The 5 door may well behave differently.

I'm able to bring the car from 110mph to 0 in a short space without locking the wheels. maybe a mixture of the brakes and I also run wider wheels and tyres to the original.
