Advice Plz About Glow Plugs

ok peeps ive just changed all 4 glow plugs as i got EML on and a PO380 code !! so ive decided to change all of them but on removing them 3 out of 4 had like a white dry crusty stuff on the long think bit before the thin tip bit !! and the 4th one that a slightly black tip and rest of plug looked like new !! why would 3 of them have this white stuff on them ????

If you test the resistance of the glow-plugs you'll probaly find the white ones are either duff or on their way out.:)

they have been in the car since new and covered 47k so im not so peed off bout it... a mate of mine has just tested them and yep the white one's showed no current yet the new looking one did !!
