Hi Guys

Just joined the discussions - I've got an X reg 140 Gen 7 and am looking for:

1. E-Marked Lexus style rear lights (all the ones on eBay seem Not to be road-legal in the UK - eg. No Orange Indicators or No reverse lights)

2. Where can I get hold of a new centre console (top part) which replaces the little storage box and which type of Screen should I be looking for?

Cheers!

Hi

im doing a install dvd tv sat nav this weekend using a pop out lcd ordered a facia adapter so it will take standard slot.

your right the ones on eBay are illigal even though they state they are. but i bought a set of crystal lexus jobbys and modded them, i swapped the reverse light and indicater light (cutting 4 wires) and bought some amber orange paint for lights. job done lights are now legal indicators are now where the reverse lights was, you can then either disconnect the reverse or do as i did and put them where the indicators was, my car passed its mot yesterday and the mechanic said reverse lights are not part of a mot, i still got mine but they are red, there are loads of crystal lights on egay i saw some earlier for £119 buy now.

JDM do a screen dash unit for the Gen 7...I have one. Not cheap though. Allows 7 inch screen install rather than a flip ot and also converts double to single din. You lose the useless cubby hole of course.

Another way is to mod your existing unit. A few guts on celica-club have also done this very professionally and successfully using the old dremel and fibreglass.

I'll post some pics of mine this week.
