Oil Maintenance Light

Hi the vehicle was serviced about 500 miles ago by my local garage. The amber warning light appear saying oil maintenace is required I can cancel by pressing the DISP button. The warning returns every time I turn on the ignition. Can somebody tell me how to canel for good, or does it have to go back to the garage. Thank you.

It would only take the dealers a few seconds to do this, but of course, time is money..........
