Gt4 Bonnet

does anyone know if the bonnet off the celice gt4 st 205 will fit the celica gt st202 i want buy the gt4 bonnet but not sure if it fits straight on to my celica gt please can anyone help me cheers

yes it will but the shape at the front centre is different, will have sort of a scoop. you could always fit the bumper as well though.

do you know how much of a scoop as i have a veilside bodykit so i don't want to change this any ideas please cheers chris

It's about 25mm high and about 500mm long along the front edge

I put the aluminium GT4 bonnet on my 98 SS3 ST202

I had the same question and ummed and aahed over it for a while

Its a straight swap but you do need to get a panelbeater to reweld your bonnet latch to make it longer

Its an easy enough job but you want to get it right

And yes you are left with a gap which I keep to add a cooling airflow over the motor and plenum

You could get a matching GT4 front cowl, but I didnt want to look like a GT4

I also have a piece of shaped aluminium which has SS3 in blue and goes inside the vent in winter

It looks awesome and I take it out in summer to get more cooling

The bonnet made a huge difference in handling as well as going faster

I think the standard bonnet is around 18kg and the GT4 is 6kg
