I have fitted a K&N Induction Kit and have been told that some people take the ECU fuse out when installing the kit, I didn't! Can I reset the ECU after, as the kit is already fitted, if so where is it and how should I do it? Thanks

Oh and I have a UK 1990 GT T-Bar

It should be in the fuse box in the engine bay, its lablled ECU (strangely enough), I think some people also take out the ignition fuse aswell. Wait a couple of minutes until you put the fuse back and then job done

No need to remove ignition fuse. Just the ECU fuse. Some people advise tapping the brake pedal to drain all power, though personally I can't see how that could have an effect (unless you're taking the disconnect the Battery route). I find removal of the fuse in the engine bay does the trick :).

your car will probably run like poo for about 15 mins (lumpy idle and all that - near stalling at lights).

drive it in a variety of ways for 15 mins ie fast, slow, gentle roads, lots of cornering, and this will help reset your ecu

Am I right in thinking this should work for any Toyota, not just the 2?

It should work in anything with an EFI system that learns and stores settings in memory backed up by power.
