Hi all

I'm just about to change my spark plugs to Denso Iridium IKH20's but can't for the life of me find the correct torque setting for them...??!

I know you could probably just do them tight enough without cross threading but I wanted to get it absolutely right!

Thanks for any help!

Hi James.

I presume they're gasket type rather than taper seat

because they're going into aluminium.

1st time you install them, seat them then tighten 180 degrees.

If you remove them and put them back in again,

seat them then tighten 90 degrees.

I can't find any torque settings for those plugs either.

There's also this......

Hi !

30nm-35nm should be enough. Thats the most used torque setting for plugs in that diameter. if tigthened too much, you risk breaking the plug or the cylinder head. :)
