Paseo Fuel Tank

Hi,

I'm trying to source a fuel tank for my paseo SI but so far I've managed to get a spare tank that doesn't fit - it's the same size and shape but the top is different. I've also seen this top on photos from other Paseos.

Is there any way to tell which fuel tank a paseo will have? None of the cars so far have been imports as far as I know.

It is difficult to help you when you don't mention wich year the Paseo is from etc...

I searched at this site www.toyodiy.com with Paseo cars from different years. I came up with this result.

77001-16220 Aug 95 - July 96

77001-16260 Aug 96 - Dec 98

My advice is that double check with your own data from your car at www.toyodiy.com

i broke a paseo in the summer and a guy at work needed the petrol tank as his was leaking so i sold him it but he then came back and told me that it was different and didnt fit.

The answer is that they changed tank during the summer 1996 according to www.toyodiy.com
