Glad to say its not just Toyota dealers that are robbers (generalisation I know but taken from experience)

Our charity runs a Daewoo forklift truck. Needed a new fuel diesel handprimer part - cost £54....and then cost of fitting £350! A service for it cost £450. And then they want to charge us £400 to flush out the cooling system :censor: :censor: :censor: :censor:

Like a lot of secondhand plant, due to export I'm told, the buying price 18 months ago was £5000 for what was a 12+ year old machine, repainted.

Bit of a captive market as our local garage can't handle a machine weighing 3 tons. Hopefully we will find a retired engineer who'd help at more normal rates!!
