all i have done is take each layer of the dash off first the black surround off which was held in by two screws then the clear plastic then another black surround then you come to the bulbs. the layers are just cliped in. unpop them and off they come. just gotta find some bulbs? they look the same size has the sidelights so they might be the same

Not sure on a starlet but i'm guessing it's the same, usually it's clear bulbs going through a green filter on the speedo display so you need a speedo display with a blue filter, for my green to blue conversion i only needed 2 blue leds and that was because of the digital milometer. The rest are as original. Costs £50+vat+delivery for the new dials custom made for mine, if yours has it all on one template then it is the same cost, you need to strip the speedo down further to find out or pm starletsy who should know

Starletcraig i have done my dash. it was not that hard but a little bit on the annoying side. the dash bulbs are the same size as are sidelights. all i did was get some clear ones and got some special glass paint and painted them.i have done mine in blue.you can buy the bulbs already done but they cost £9.99 for a pair. i had to take off the petrol and temperature gauge off. the needles pull off then undo four screws. and access it in front of ya. just remember to mark where you pull the needle out from as putting them back in the wrong place results in a lot more swearing :censor: !!!i also done the two bulbs behind the heater controls.

Sorry for taking this topic up again, after eight years, but I didn't feel to start a new topic for this! ;)

Just wanted to know which bulbs that are in the instrument cluster. Are they W5W?

I am having plans of changing them to white LED ^_^
