Hi everyone ! I have a 94 3.0 Surf auto,it was fine till about a week ago,but now its developed a shudder when you come to a halt! its fine at all other times, only when you actually brake and stop, the whole car shakes.I was told it might be the fluid in the auto transmission but checked it today and it looks clean (it is a little high but the fault has just started so dont think its that)plus, when shifting up there's no shudder. The revs dont drop off when you stop so dont think its engine, only other thing is a noise from a front brake, could a caliper piston do this only when you come to a stop ?

Would be grateful for any suggestions, thanks guys.

warped discs, either need skimmed or replaced

Nope.... not the disks Jimmi but thanks.Brakes are working fine, disks are nearly new,the shudder only comes on at the last minute as you come to a halt, cant feel anything unusual on the brake pedal.I had thought it might be a calliper piston binding but that doesnt make sense now.One thing I forgot to mention! this only happens after I've done a few miles and everything is warmed up, so dont think it can be bushes either.
