Erratic Idle

Hi All

I have a 2003 Avensis 2ltr T Spirit which intermittently idles erratically,both if stood and motionless at junctions etc..any clues anyone?

Also can anyone advise where (apart from Mr T) I can get a black rubber roof strip/trim,the one that goes from the front to the back of the roof.

If the engine is cold and you turn the heater up the engine either idles to 1000 or 1200 rpm depending how cold it is and when you are stationary so the engine heats up quicker. Once the engine is up to temperature the revs return to normal.
