Sat Nav Error

I have recently bought a second hand 2004 avensis vvt-i t-spirit, it didnt come with manuals or sat nav dvd, contacted toyota, got the dvd's and manuals,£185.00 later, when i insert the dvd into the player it says it "cannot read data" make sure you have correct map dvd, i am at a loss as to wot to do, i have tried it and better tried it, but to no avail, could anyone please help me, as i am very frustrated!!!!!

try resetting the unit by pulling its fuse out for 10 - 20 seconds if that doesnt work as back to toyota you go to get it looked at :)

Are you sure they haven't given you the wrong one for your SatNav? My guess is you have the

TNS 300 or 310, they could have given you a later one e.g.TNS500 (or even an earlier one e.g.TNS200)

I am not sure wot model i have got i asked them, they just said is it the one that has a big screen that comes out of the dashboard, and said these are the correct discs,so i am still non the wiser, cos obviously i dont have number on the old disc as it didnt come with one. they dont refund for discs do they?

went to talk to Mr T and he was eva so nice, he had given me the wrong discs, now have the correct ones and hey presto, its working!!!!!
