Wheels 19"

Hi all I have seen for sale some 19" alloys with 245/45 on them on a 2005 Rav4 will these fit on our 2002 we have 16" 235/60 as standard and are the bolts the same? Is 45 correct for 19" or should they be 40 or even 35?

Depends how harsh a ride you want!

From the size aspect, your wheels/tyres are overall 712mm tall, these will be 703mm, so actually slightly shorter!

235/50/19 are closest at 718mm.

Make sure the offset is within the correct range, especially for the inner arch if you go for them.

you can buy a full set of alloys and tyres for around £550 nowadays. Just watch that whatever wheel/tyre you get will clear the wheel arches on full lock in both directions. from my experience with my 18" wheels and tyres, I don't think you will have a problem.

Is the 19" tyre readily available at a price and choice that you want? I haven't heard of many 19" tyres, mainly 18" where competition means tyre price is good.
