Noisy Squeaky Passenger Seat

has anyone had trouble with a noisy squeaky passenger seat in their corolla T3 (mine is an 03 Corolla T3)

anyone who sits in it (regardless of weight) the seat squeaks when i accelerate or go over a bump!

any ideas

Mine is a 52 reg T2.

I did have a squeaky passenger seat that did start to annoy me. Toyota replaced the seat base free of charge, but i still notice it at times. Its only when the seat is empty that i find it happens.

Yep, same problem here. Dealer threw grease at the problem. And when I say threw, I could have put the excess in a tub and sold it back to them. The stuff was everywhere, but it cured the problem.

Yup, slightly squeaking when someone is in the seat, but when the seat is empty it is nearly unbrearable... it's the seatback in ours that does it. Pushing the seatback back with your hand (only slight pressure required) stops it.

i have 03 cts i had squeaking driver seat from the second week took it back to dealers for repair dont know what they done within 10mins they gave me back the car the seat no longer squeak then 2 weeks after it squeak again then i book it in for repair this time left them the car for a whole day got it back was told they re-trim the seat and the squeak gone for about 2 weeks and back again now i cant be bother to book it in

i going to wait untill i go for my first service then i gonna make a issue out of it but i still have plenty of miles before is needed for a service i only done just over 5k on the cts
