Tomorrow's the day Dear newish car with 2 months worth of dirt is going for tlc. Plan is to drive it to Mr Clean who will:

give it a wash and shift s*** using Autosmart Tardis, claying and whatever.

machine polish/glaze

paint conditioner

carnuba wax

C1 Crystal Lacquer (the best bit)

I will watch and learn then be taken home and collect car Thurday when stuff has hardened.

Fingers crossed. Hope looks live up to the hype.

Done & dusted

Took the chap 8 hrs in total - I know, I was there. Biggest eye opener to me was the mess I'd made of the paint by trying to remove some albatross droppings a few weeks ago using a damp polyroll. Took him over an hour to polish out my scuff marks that I hadn't even seen.

Looks nice but key question is... Will it remain so?

BTW paint thickness on this car is about 110-120 microns on metal and 70-80 on the plastic. Average I'm told.
