Scree Washer Jets.

Just a couple of questions re the front and rear washer "jets". 2010 Yaris TR.

Is the rear window wash meant to have the same "fan" spray pattern as the front? The water trickles out on mine vertically down the centre of the window (same from new, so it's not a partially frozen nozzle).

It would seem the front washers are not adjustable as to where they hit the screen. Mine are too low. The left hand one misses the short wiper blade completely. The water should surely hit the centre of the windscreen? What's the solution for that?

I'm off to the dealer's later this morning to have a moan  so they can sort those at the same time if not correct.

Presumably the washer jets are the same as on the Auris - which are non-adjustable. The topic has appeared previously on the Auris club pages - and one can get replacements which spray higher up the screen (e.g +1 and +2). The rear washer on the Auris produces a central stream - which sounds the same as your Yaris.

Thanks for that. I hope your username isn't literal in this weather!

I'll get the dealer to supply and fit the correct front jets then because the existing ones are not fit for purpose as they are. Probably minus 2.
