Parcel Shelf Broken

The parcel chelf is held in place by a little plastic "finger" I suppose you could sall it, on either side.

They are part of the moulded interior.

But one of mine snapped off.

It is expensive to get this replaced?

Gluing it back wouldnt be an option.

I am considering getting a bolt and a couple of nuts and washers and securing it on the inside of the trim, so that it gts a good grip, but cannot figure out how to get the trim off.

Any thoughts?

Araldite is your friend here, stronger than superglue and stronger hold... not sure how else you could fix this...

Sure, but I take the shelf out fairly frequently, so it would only break again.

Is there somewhere online that shows how to get the trim off?

Its not easy to do it seems, but I dont want to force it in case I case more damage.

If I could so that, I could get something fitted permanently.

You could try some plastic repair stuff like Plastex

I've used Plastex with some very good results, but it might depend on the particular plastic in your case.
