Engine Stuttering As If Its About To Stall

Hi guys, got a problem with my sisters aygo. Cant be too specific because im only going off what shes told me, but she says the car is stuttering when slowing down as if the car is about to stall, but it doesn't actually stall. Got it booked in, but just wondered if anyone has had anything like this before? Its a 59 Reg

you gotta remember it`s a 3-cylinder pot and they have the habit of doing this. The "cure" is as simple as pie: she`s gotta press the clutch when she is feeling that the engine`s about to die.

It sounds like it might be a reaction against the cold weather.

Either the idle speed needs to be adjusted or an O₂ sensor needs to be replaced. Neither ought to be a particularly difficult or expensive job.
