Pop Up Light Problem

I have finally changed the mph dial, fog light, new wiring for all Speakers on my MR2 turbo.

While I playing with all the electrics, one of the light doesn't pop up :crybaby::crybaby: .so I went to manually wind up the light, it came out a loud "pammm..." then pop up agian.

I have a feel that it is stuck somewhere mechanically, but can someone point out how I should deal with it.

Thanks.

my lights are a mare. the passenger one is lazy and stops an inch short. u can pull it but it drops back (something wrong with the actual length of the lifter i think - manually winding doesnt help either)

drivers side goes up and down constantly when they have been on and u turn them off (does this until u turn off the ignition).

the manual winder only lets u go so far then it will automatically retract and make that noise that makes u jump everytime.

matt at rogue systems once mentioned to me that it may be the headlamp relay (i believe there is 1 for each lamp - could be wrong?!), and cos u have been playing with your electrics this could be the answer. drop matt a pm and he may be able to help you.

or do as im gonna do, dump the whole lot and get the low-rise lamps from him

well... i had the sense that it catches something inside..or maybe need to adjust the pushing rod. But as i got the tools out, it fixed itself.

so didn't fix it if it is not broken.....
