Hi

Just wondering if anyone has used either of the above on their MR2?

Whats the verdict? Mine hardly works at all in the snow :(

Not a thing I have tried in the eight years of ownership Jace although I must admit I didn't use mine for the really bad week of snow, the worst thing I find (apart from the ability to put the arse end out VERY easily  ) is the deep ruts and risk of damage to panels  apart from that just treat it with respect and try to avoid problems

From what I've read on these things, it is a good idea to have a set front and rear for a rear wheel drive car, especially one that is light at the front. They are really a get you home kind of solution as once you get onto treated tarmac, you really need to take them off again or they will not last too long.

Winter tyres are extremely good if you can get them in the right sizes, but these may be in short supply at the moment.

What Les said about ground clearance and stuff is very important and not a lot of folks consider that. We do get a few issues from having a car that sits low to the ground.
