Toyota Auris Sr180 Chip

Hi all,

I have a performance chip for a Toyota Auris SR180. I had it on my 58plate Auris but should fit auris's around that year. I bought the chip based on several good reviews from a Toyota forum of people who had bought these. It's am easy plug & play box which can be removed if need be. I have all the instructionss & fitting guide. The chip claims approx 200bhp & 450nm of torque. It added to our mpg by 5 & the extra power was noticeable. It didn't upset the car at all. It's a non Toyota product & will need removing before going into the garage. I'm selling it as i'm looking to get a remap in the new year. I'm after approx £80ono any interest.

I didn't think they could be remapped?

Well that's what i have been told but this mapping company claim to be able to do it. So i will get it done in the new year & let you know how it goes. They claim 40bhp & 100nm so a bit of work is needed on the brakes. I have found uprated drilled & grooved front & rear disc's then some red stuff pads or (which ever is the fast road pad).

daughter came over from paris this week to buy a cat (abyssinian) they are a lot cheaper here than in france.

to meet french regulations (rabies etc) it had to have injections and a chip inserted.

therefore if its been chipped will this have improved its purr formance.
