Speaker Depths

Just wondering what the speaker depths are for:

a) in the dash & b)in the doors...?

Want to fit new Speakers all round but concerned about the depth of the Speakers that i purchase as they may not fit.

Hi 123,

Toyota have very kindly lined up a fitter to pop some Speakers in the front doors after they cocked up with the spec, I'm meeting with the fitter in a couple of days to discuss which to fit (he seems to think he'll be able to fit some better ones with a cash adjustment), so I'll ask him what I can get away with. Like you I'm interested in a dash mount upgrade too.

I can't tell you what the gap is but I do have the boxes of what I fitted so can tell you what will fit.

Doors 165mm, depth 46mm

Dashboard 100mm, depth 36mm

AFAIK maximum depth for the doors is 48mm.

Am I correct thinking then that 16cm Speakers in the doors and 10cm in the dash both with 48mm max depths?
