Chinese Navi Problem

I have ordered Navi unit for my Auris from chinese suplier,model ARS728 which have CE Certificate.Unfortunately,here in Croatia Custom Service and State Comunication Agency demands Declaration of Conformity for importing electronical equipment.Manufacturer dont have that paper.

I saw few members some time ago have successfuly imported similar units in EU countries,so if some one have that darn DoC paper,pls help!

Hi Mate,

manufacturer should have the document if they really comply with UE norms. If goods are imported to EU then importer should have it too. The issue is quite common with the "made in china" stuff that has only a CE sticker on it.

Thank You all for help, but Croatian Comunications Agency (HAKOM) doesn't accept that Certificate.They strictly demand Declaration of Conformity.I have contacted few eBay sellers which sell such units throughout Europe, and nobody have such paper.I'll most probably send unit back, loose 100s$ and wait some time until my funny little country became member of EU.
