Estima Turbo Warning Light

Ive got an Estima 4Wd Td. When you use the turbo heavily (eg up hill) the orange warning light on the dash comes on and will not go out until you turn off and turn back on again. Though it runs fine and with the light on except the car seems to be generally lacking in power ( with the light on or off )I thought there may be a rev limiter or some kind of electrical problem with the turbo somewhere. Any ideas out there?
