Rumbling Noise From Engine D4D 4.2

In this very cold weather I've noticed a slight 'rumbling' noise on start up. The noise goes when I depress the clutch pedal and returns when it is lifted. This only seems to have appeared since the cold weather started and as far as I can tell (hear) it goes as soon as the engine has been running for a short while. DMF and clutch were replaced at around 60K miles - now done approx. 74K miles. Also engine has not been as quick to fire up when it is turned over first thing - again I suspect this is entirely due to the cold. Any comments/help with this would be much appreciated.

Its just the shafts turning in the gearbox. Don't worry

Thanks Anchorman! Much appreciated. :)

I suppose in this cold weather, you need to stoke up the engine for a wee while before things get moving. One of the joys of oil-burning engine ownership. And they used to say that landrover engines were bad!
