Hi All

Noticed a light rumbling noise when starting up and sitting in the car for a minute during the freezing weather - any ideas - sound like my old tumble dryer when the jockey pulley was on its way out..

there - told you - flatulence. Extending the left leg takes the pressure off the lower abdomen.

anyone shed more light?

If you try lighting a match whilst flatulating, I'm told the methane explodes with some light as well ?

Clutch thrust bearing?

Not the same thing as you NB but I get a grumbling noise from the front passenger seat on cold mornings and then again when the interior is warmed up!

Its just the gears idling in the box. I can hear it on my 10 reg in very cold weather - don't worry it is normal.
