I have purchased mudflaps for my Auris but would like some information on fitting them.I have checked the Toyota Service web site but each time I click on the appropriate page (Accesory Installation manuals) I am told the page has been moved or is not available. Can anyone help me please?

Many thanks.

Have a look at a previous topic - Auris 2010 Mud Flaps, Any Good? - dating back to 24th October 2010 (page 5 of listed topics).

I put my own mud flaps on that I puchased. Genuine Toyota ones. They do make a hell of a difference as the stones off the road dont hit the bottom of the car now. I got the instructions on how to fit them of the toyota technical website. I saw it quoted on a post on here somewhere. I also fitted the wind defusers myself. got the instructions on how to do that of the same site. If you put in Toyota Technical data in your search engine it may come up.

The good thing about the genuine toyota flaps is that there is no drilling involved, and when you offer the flaps up you will see tiny marks to where the clips should go.

 Thanks for help, have found Installation Manual. I use Opera as my browser and this gives problems on some sites so I checked out the Toyota Technical site using Internet Explorer and this worked taking me straight to the Manual.

Alls well that ends well.

Thanks again.

As a matter of interest for anyone else who wishes to fix mudflaps to their Auris, despite instructions from Toyota that there was no need I found it easier to remove each rear wheel when fitting each of the mudflaps. (for safety's sake remember to have additional support for the car and not just rely on the jack!)
