Have lost count (and names) of all those on t'forum looking for or will be looking for a spare for the boot (as long as the dog doesn't mind, etc....)

Those of you with the Runflats who may be changing them, but same as me like the original 18" Alloy......

E-BAY ITEM NUMBER 220712498882 FILL YER BOOTS.

Good find Kev, heres the LINK worth having a read through full description as the guy says cost £700 to make up sounds like he has bought new wheel/tyre/rim + valve, interesting  Stew

Tut, tut, Big Kev - not been keeping up-to-speed with the posts: ebay advert

Got 3 snow tyres and new alloys fitted.

Courier seems to have lost the 4th alloy package - it's been scanned into their Glasgow depot, and was out for delivery on Thursday morning, but no-one knows where it's at :ffs: :censor: :ffs: They will let me know on Monday what's happening.

Anyway, I will eventually have two sets of wheels - so if anyone in the central belt of Scotland gets a puncture and needs a temporary loan of a 235/55/R18 T180 wheel whilst their gets fixed, just let me know.

Apologies Marksy yes i did spot that someone else had posted one  what interests me, is if each item can be bought seperately and assembled, then surely they can be disassembled (is that a word)without resource to cutting off tyres + removing support ring with angle grinders  Stew

You can disassemble ('tis a word) them - if you are willing to pay Mr T for the use of "the machine". Indeed, my dealer has been doing this for some customers who want to get away from the support ring.

If you were to make a T180 wheel up:

* About £170-£200 for the Bridgestone Dueler.

* About £125 for the TPWS sensor.

* About £200 for the alloy? My replica ones for the snow tyres (great copies) were £138 each including delivery.

* How much for a support ring? £150?

* About £40 for putting it togther, fitting it and registering the TPWS sensor? Probably more?

Would it not be cheaper to have a back door fitted with the spare wheel option and have five wheels like the older models???? :censor:

Totally missed yer postation, Marsk, and I have been following your progress. Applaudments on offer of a "lenny" in emergencies. Nae offence, ah hope you get very little chance to use your winter tyres this year.

Big Kev

What part of the world you living in - its black ice oot there as thick as a bottle of buckfast. Or are you staying in that igloo thing which is meant to house rock salt???

With winter tyres, one could offer ones help to the courier companies who obviously struggle with their white vans.

I don't honestly know  however i would guess rear door gotta be £1000 plus spraying + then the rear bumper is different to accomodate number plate, and its also deeper ie the rear bumper protector off a xt4 will not fit a xtr etc, whether you could buy a rear door skin + just replace the part with the spare wheel mount, but you would still have the numberplate problem so probably not viable, I also think the vehicle without spare looks better, but happily i have a xt4 with a nice smug spare attached which i would not want to lose for all the tea in China  Stew
