Been Busy In The Boot

Up till now I've had a Sony cd player, standard front Speakers and some Blaupunkt component Speakers I that I replaced the rears with. But it still didn't sound right. So I've been busy this weekend installing a new amp and Speakers in the boot of my car, I decided against a sub as I wanted to keep the space for practicality. It still sounds a whole lot better than before and I'm chuffed to bits with how it looks as I've never done one before. Gonna install some blue LEDS behind the speakers as they are a blue transparent finish. Just wanted your opinions folks

I know what you were saying about the sub and amp filling the boot as my boot is not nearly non existant. <_<

Although there is some room behind the sub and amp boxes. :D

Cutting the holes for the 6x9s wasnt the problem, it was trying to fit it all in after they were fitted with the low window without cracking the window!!! Managed it though.

There is another thread that has a post which explains how i fitted my 6x9s(ill find it soon and add a link for you), they really do make a difference. Just need some new front Speakers.

Well i still aint sure what i am doing. i went to the club gallery and tried loading up some pictures but i still cant. well unless i can not find them. anybody fancy telling me what to do to load up? :D

it does shine really blue in the boot normally but cant see it now

i am gonna retrim the interior in red leather and white vinyl.

that really does look sweet.

I like the fact that with the white and blue light it looks really crisp and clean. I cant wait to see more of that as it progresses.

Here is a rough idea of what i want to have in my boot. its a pretty bad drawning but you get the jist of what i want to squeeze into my seo boot. What do people think?

(P.s. there will be strobes in it too and the light blue bars will be neons)

Cheers mate well i will start doing my interior as soon as i get some alloy for me car. trying to get some cheap 16s or 17s but it aint happening. like ya pic. if it comes off it will look really good. the spare wheel is a problem i have had to make is so that i can remove all my sub and amp easily is i need to get it out.

matt, trust me, there is absolutely NO way your can manage to get a 17" spare into that space like you have on the pic. it needs to be angled down sooo much to fit, it may as well be lying flat!

i cant even get my spare in my scoob to sit like that!

Unfortunatly that was a F.U.K Badge but that has been removed since the photo was taken. I now have a nice Toyota Badge in its replacement. :D

I know it seems v unreal me getting the wheel like that(and no its not going to be that upright) but i have the spare 17 in there at the min and i am going to fit everything around it to make a feature of the spare wheel and make it so that removing the spare wheel will mean dropping the back seats and pulling it out that way but am pretty sure itll all fit in!
