Electrical Problem With Rav 4 2.0 D4D

Hi. I am having problems with my 2002 Rav4 2.0 d4d and hoping you guys can help. I have tried looking at past threads but can not find an answer.

I have changed the Battery and since doing so I have lost power to the stereo, blower heater and windscreen wipers. I have checked the fuses and wondering whether a reply has blown but I do not know which relay would control this. Any ideas?

Only have wiring diagrams for about mid 2003 onwards, but they are similar.

I haven't spotted any common relay for that lot. It is however all supplied first through fuse AM1 then all through the ignition switch, followed by the individual fuses. If AM1 has gone, I'd thought they may be bigger trouble, but worth a check, assuming you haven't included it in your check already. If you've just done a fuse continuity check, if you can get contact to a fuse terminal with them in place, I'd check you've got 12Vish on each.

Allegedly driver's side.

Haven't spotted any common ground either.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. It seems that I am having EXACTLY the same problem as hedgehog57. He replaced the Battery, the ignition fuse blew, the fuse was replaced and the car started however the following fuses still did not work: (1) backup lights; (2) taillights; (3) turn signals; (4) electric windows; (5) interior gauge lighting; (6) radio; (7) brake lights.
