Avensis D-4D Problems Over 3000 Rpm

Hi,

I have an Avensis Verso D4D with the following problem: when I try to go over 2500-3000 rpm it seems like the engine is limited. The problem occurs at lower rpms when the car is going uphill or when it is laden.

I tried to detach the connector from the map sensor and the problem raised earlier. Keeping the connector attached but disconnecting the little pipe under it the problem seems to turns at lower rpms while the engine runs well at higher ones (btw, very difficult to reach since at lower rpms the engine runs very bad).

What do you think about that?

thank you in advance

d

Hi Diego

it looks you ve got an issue either with partly blocked EGR or SCV.

Cheers/Igor
